Scam check
Paste the text of a suspicious email, text message or pop-up. The check looks for the warning signs scammers use most. It runs only in your browser: nothing is sent or stored.
No common scam signs found. That does not prove it is safe: if it asks for money, passwords or remote access, stop and verify through the official website or phone number you already know.
If you already reacted
- Disconnect the PC from the internet if someone has remote access.
- Uninstall remote tools you did not install yourself (AnyDesk, TeamViewer and similar).
- Change passwords from a different, clean device, starting with email and banking.
- Call your bank using the number on your card if you paid or shared card details.
- Report it: in the US at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
